Prepared & implemented AFE’s & procedures for workovers, stimulation & CT intervention for One Tech LLC from June 1 through June 10.

From June 10 through the present, I have worked exclusively for Chalker Energy Partners & Nabors First Republic in its East Texas Cotton Valley and Buda properties. Responsibilities have included compressor optimization planning; installation of pipelines & production facilities; preparation of workover and coil tubing procedures; site supervision of coil tubing & rigs for workovers / completions; frac logisitics and supervision; site supervision of electric wireline & slickline operations; supervision & training of pumpers; vendor selection.

 

2007 - 2006

Energytec, Inc.

From January 1 through March 18, I served as General Manager of Field Operations directing drilling, workover and completion operations in five Texas districts with company owned drilling and workover rigs and equipment.

Appointed by Board of Directors to Vice President of Drilling and Production, effective March 19, 2006. This scope of this position included budgeting, employment, regulatory issues, HSE process implementation and formulation of company policy. I served in this capacity until my voluntary resignation on May 31, 2007.

 

2005 - 2003

Prepared & implemented AFE’s & procedures for completions, CT intervention, production facility & pipeline installation for various clients, including Chalker Energy Partners,  in both sour & sweet producing fields in East Texas, Central Texas and North Louisiana.

Monitored & supervised turnkey drilling of Woodbine & Cotton Valley wells in East Texas for various clients.

Supervised vertical & horizontal multi-lateral underbalanced drilling, completion, coil tubing, stimulation and wireline operations for Bridas Energy USA in DeSoto Parrish, Louisiana and Victoria, Co., Tx.

Formulated & supervised procedures for wireline & coil tubing intervention in prolific sour gas well in Madison County, Tx for Redwood Energy Production.
Assisted in casing design & drilling program/completion procedure for 12,100’ prolific Rodessa sour gas producer in Madison County, Texas. Supervised drilling & completion of same well for Redwood Energy.

Drilling & Workover Superintendent, Aksai, Kazakhstan

Invoked Change of Control terms after Chevron-Texaco merger to voluntarily take early retirement / severance in May 2003.

Managed fishing, workover, sidetracking and completion operations for 2 - 3 rigs in 17,000' gas field with 6% H2S & CO2.
Provided technical specifications for fishing, R&S, downhole workover/drilling tools for Integrated Services Contract tender.
Assisted in provision of technical specifications and equipment requirements for 6 drilling & workover rigs tender.
Assisted in development and implementation of technical and on-the-job training regimen for Kazakh nationals to meet company goals and commitment to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Developed and implemented performance measures and tracking system for rig and rig-less well operations.
Assisted in development of HSE, Emergency Response Plans and PTW system within Well Operations.

Saudi Arabian Texaco Inc., Rig Superintendent, PNZ Kuwait
Managed the workover/service and shallow drilling rig operations and contract for 4 - 6 shallow rigs and related activities in sour fields in the Partitioned Neutral Zone.

Implemented performance measures and and tracking system for shallow well rig work.
Directed fishing operations of 177 sucker rod pump wells.
Supervised and implemented 40 workovers per year within budget constraints.
Supervised shallow drilling and water well drilling.
Implemented completion procedures of 11 new vertical and 3 new horizontal wells.
Directed 5 side-tracking operations.
Assisted Petroleum Engineering with development of workover and completion procedures and proposals.
Introduced and implemented fiberglass tubing production strings for ESP production.
Supervised 7 Rig co-ordinators (company men), Production/Drilling Tools yard and 3 employees, Rod Pump Shop and 3 employees, ESP yard and Rig Contractor Superintendent.
Responsible for developing tenders for shallow drilling and workover rigs and rod pump parts and services.

Supervised 2 - 4 workover/service rigs daily in 3 fields with sour crude production.
Supervised fishing and reactivation of 56 ESP and 70 rod pump wells.
Supervised and executed completion of 2 wildcat wells (14,500') at average cost of $2.5MM.
Supervised and executed 20 workovers and 4 high-angle side-tracks per year.
Supervised well servicing of ESP and rod pump wells.

Getty Oil Co., Production Supervisor/Well Control Specialist, PNZ Kuwait

On loan to Getty Oil Co. from TEPI New Orleans Onshore Producing Division for supervision of well control and well capping due to Gulf War destruction.
Hands on supervision and direction of well control and well capping of 285 wells damaged during invasion of Kuwait.
Supervised fishing of 6 ESP and 10 rod pump wells.

Implemented and co-ordinated the Onshore Producing Division Quality assurance Process.
Introduced the QA process in 7 central locations of Assets West. " Presented Team Leader Training to 150 persons across the whole division in 3-day sessions from Corpus Christi, Texas to Mobile, Alabama.
Taught Team Member Training to 100 Persons in 1-day sessions across Texas and Louisiana.
Coached and consulted with 10 cross-functional work groups in Louisiana and Texas on a weekly basis to improve work processes through QA.

TEPI Onshore Sour Lake Area, Production Supervisor, Liberty Sub Area
Supervised production operations, well services and workover operations for 8 fields in 5 southeast Texas counties.
Assisted in design and supervised workovers of oil and gas wells from depths of 1,500' - 15,000'.
On loan to Drilling Department during drilling of 3 horizontal Austin Chalk wells in Burleson County, Tx.
Developed and controlled budget of Sub Area in conjunction with Field Engineer to improve profitability of 80% of properties.
Developed and implemented corrosion program and tubular designs in conjunction with Field Engineer that reduced well pulling costs by 35%.

Served as special assistant to area manager supervising deep workovers, occasional drilling activities on loan to drilling department and production operations in and around metropolitan Houston and offshore Texas.
Supervised workovers on 11 sour gas wells ranging in depth from 14,000' - 17,000'.
Supervised foam-air deepening of 2 Austin Chalk vertical producers in Burleson County, Texas.
Upgraded North Milton Gas Gathering System in Northwest Houston suburbs to meet regulatory standards as rural lands were developed into residential neighbourhoods.
Supervised installation, start-up and commissioning of amine gas sweetening plant for Langham Creek Field.

Supervised production, well servicing and workover operations in 5 producing fields in 6 counties in central Texas. And in Texas Coastal Waters in Trinity Bay.
Team Leader responsible for directing and developing Environmental Disaster & Contingency Plan for the Corpus Christi District.
Team member of manpower rationalisation team formed to re-organize Corpus Christi District after Texaco-Getty merger.

Supervised drilling, DST and P&A of 22,000'exploratory sour gas Sligo Reef prospect in Walker County, Texas.
Supervised frac jobs of 18 Austin Chalk wells.
Supervised construction of 20 tank batteries for new wells in Burleson, Brazos and Madison Counties.
Served as Unit Operator Co-ordinator for Bryan Woodbine Field GOR testing in conjunction with the Texas Railroad Commission.

Supervised drilling, workover, production and gas plant operations in the Calvin Field of Winn Parish, Louisiana and in the Carthage Field in Panola County, Texas.
Supervised drilling and completion operations of 4 wells with depth of 16,500' with SBHP of 14,000 psi and SBHT of 325 - 3750 F.
Supervised drilling and testing of 12,000' exploratory well in Coushatta Parish, Louisiana.
Supervised 24-hour workover operations of 5 wells with SBHP of 12,000 psi and SBHT of 325 - 3750 F.
Supervised 2 matrix acid jobs with surface treating pressures approaching 10,0000 psi and 2 frac jobs using 100,000 pounds of proppant with surface treating pressures of 15,000 psi.

Worked in construction of Calvin Gas Plant.
Performed routine maintenance of processing vessels and systems.
